Rawhide Cowboy Church of Carter County has sure grown in the last year. Pastor Tim Jones has a way of bringing Gods message, every Sunday morning, that will cause you to reflect about the way we live our lives. Personally; I have never felt a closer bond with God and truly appreciate my church family. Please come join us at 10:30 am on Sunday mornings. 1.5 miles North of the Noble Foundation on Gene Autry Road, Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Just received word that our Skidboot project has taken a different direction and is now going into text, instead of heading for the big screen. Whoever these decision makers are, They are sure making a huge mistake. This country needs films that are real! Gary has teamed up with singer/songwriter Danny Steagall on one of his most rewarding projects to-date, the title track for the motion picture "Skidboot", the story of David Hartwig and his amazing dog, Skidboot. The film is currently in preproduction, the screenplay is complete, money is budgeted, the director has been selected, and negotiations with major actors in the industry are in progress. Check out the Texas Country Reporter story about David and this wonderful dog on YouTube.

Gary’s single, There's No Place Like Oklahoma (Where A Cowboy Feels So Alive), has been given the green light from the Oklahoma Senate to be selected as the official State Cowboy Song. The next step will be air-play on Country radio in Oklahoma. Through our publisher, we are planning on getting this out for a listen this fall.

Gary has taken over the music director's position for Rawhide Cowboy Church of Carter County. The church is located one mile north of the Noble Foundation on Gene Autry Road in Ardmore, Oklahoma. We would like to invite everyone to come worship with us at 10:30a on Sunday mornings.

Gary's long awaited 4th album arrived December 15, 2011. "LOMAX", is a tribute to the man who through his love of Cowboy & Folk Songs travelled extensively through the west, over a 100 years ago, documenting Cowboys and their song. John Lomax's first published works was, "Cowboy Songs", in 1910. Gary researched obscure writings that had no musical composition and sometimes no author, and brought back these wonderful stories in song.

We are happy to announce that Gary is now working with Mr. John Lomax III, (Nashville). John’s company (Roots Music Exporters), specializes in selling retail exclusives, hard-to-find, “indie” label CD’s, DVD’s and vinyl to importers in Europe, Asia and Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to share his Cowboy music with the rest of the world. Gary's long awaited 4th album arrived December 15, 2011.
